I settled on the Vizio M550SV attributable to options, size, and price. I didn’t get a 3D as a result of i could not see myself sporting those stupid glasses all the time (or at all). the image quality is great and therefore the sound is ok. i will spring for a home theater system down the road, but i’d counsel fidgeting with the settings until you get the proper combine (sometimes turning off the surround offers better quality). This Buyer Review is From e470vl : vizio e470vl once I finally decided to enter the 21st century and replace my analog sets with digital flat screen TVs, I knew i’d need to have confidence positive reviews from others. when abundant reading on several websites the passion for the Vizio brand sold me and that i ordered vizio e470vl and the forty two in. moreover. I have had them a month currently and located the set-up to be simple and that i just like the image quality. but my enthusiasm is currently dampened when having to contact Vizio customer service. The digital TV program information that is supposed to seem when the Guide button is pressed doesn’t work on e470vl (but works perfectly on the forty two inch) and Vizio customer service tried to tell me that I had a newer model that did not include this. Huh??? How return it is referenced on page twenty one in my user’s guide? Even my old analog sets display program information. The fast-talking, principally unintelligible service rep acted like this was a wonderfully plausible clarification even though I purchased both TVs at the same time. His attitude was “just traumatize it.” Fortunately, Amazon has return to the rescue and is doing what Vizio should have done –replacing the TV with another one. i was ready to speak to an Amazon service rep immediately who has already shipped out the replacement TV these days. I can solely hope i don’t have any further trouble with these sets as a result of I now grasp that Vizio are of little facilitate. No service when the sale with Vizio. Follow-up to review: The replacement TV additionally doesn’t display program information. I actually have both the Vision vizio xvt553sv. and also the Samsung UN55D8000 HDTVs. both have exceptional clarity, quality and brightness to their screens. Mine are both on FIOS connections. The Visio is larger in thickness and length and width, however with that comes superior audio capability right out of the box, since the Visio has front facing speakers designed into its chassis. The Visio remote is superior to the Samsung remote in that it’s a slide out full QWERTY keyboard, the Samsung is on the opposite facet and is a bit cumbersome in comparison to the Visio application. the worth of the Vizio was $600 but the Samsung…but the Samsung is definitely more fashionable. therefore if operate and quality are your preference..at a true nice price associate with the Vizio…if style is st the highest of your list and paying lots is not an issue, associate with the Samsung…both are nice HDTVs

vizio xvt3d554sv. this is an excellent TV. 1st large digital set that I have had. nice image. lots of functionality. Shipping was effortless. Showed up in a massive box, that was simple to open. Stand already on the set – delivery person and i just set it on an existing console and away I went.

e420vo. i have been using this TV for several months now and it is a solid performer. image quality is superb and it does precisely what it is supposed to do. I gave it four stars rather than 5 just because I actually have to check it to one hundred twenty Hz LED backlit models and that they do have a far better image. But, for the value this on is impossible to beat. Highly recommended.

vizio e3d470vx recently upgraded from a sony forty in lcd (40w4100), which developed dead pixels once 18 months. this tv is wonderful, considering the price! it value but what i paid for the 40in sony. that was a chunk of junk! this LG upgrade now gives me consistent blacks and great one hundred eighty degree viewing angles. the picture appearance flawless from a large angle. even the stand will swivel 20 degrees for simple use and convenience. the levels of customizations for the picture settings are unbelievable. also, it’s energy economical and won’t offer heat like the recent plasmas: only $40 per year on 5 hours/day use at 11 cents per kwatt of electricity. get it! you won’t regret.

I like everything about this tv EXCEPT they must very create a compatable qwerty remote. Its very a pain to have to use the number pad.
Someone mentioned you couldnt assign names to the inputs, well that is false. just push the tools button when within the input list and there ya go. vizio e3d470vx Review…
