Now, for the computer half.panasonic tc-p46st30 Powered down all devices, then connected my HP HPE 390t with the 1.8GB nVidia Geforce GTX 260 video card with an HDMI out to the HDMI2 input on the Panasonic. Powered both TV and HP pc copy. WOW…as the pc began to load, the color, fidelity, etc of the windows blue intro screen was fantastic as was the HDTV portion once I first turned on the cable. once logging in, my screen background photo (photo of wife and i in front of a glacier and mountain in Alaska) simply blew me away. No different monitor I even have had (and its been several) since 2008 (date of our trip and photo), was able to display it so well. now comes the vital half. This TC-L32U3 does handel the laptop very, very well, but many minor changes required to be made: 1)the pc displayed the background larger than the TV screen size. NO problem. Went into Windows seven management panel and created certain the video card was set at 1920 X 1080, the refresh rate at 60Hz, and color depth at thirty two bit. Continue reading →

I just purchased this panasonic tc-l42u25 and let me tell you i’m pleasantly surprised. it has a slim bezel and looks nice. I even have noticed that you can see an enormous difference in quality in HD programing. Watching ABC and from one hd industrial to another there can be a big difference. at least with my rear projection 60″ Sony Bravia it absolutely was not as noticeable. i’m terribly impressed. Another issue I found pretty odd is the “expert” lg 50pw350 picture profiles are disabled in 3D view mode. so all your calibrated results haven’t any that means if you are watching 3D movies. I understand that each one energy saving options are disabled in 3D mode however the calibrated profiles are gone too? terribly odd indeed. Fortunately, the “Cinema” picture profile still works and as I said, it does a good job.
This TV does not have any internet streaming service however who really desires it because if you buy a 3D TV, it’s almost sure that you just have or can have a 3D Blu-ray player and every one 3D Blu-ray players have internet streaming capability. Why we want to pay additional for an analogous feature during a TV as well?
