I settled on the Vizio M550SV attributable to options, size, and price. I didn’t get a 3D as a result of i could not see myself sporting those stupid glasses all the time (or at all). the image quality is great and therefore the sound is ok. i will spring for a home theater system down the road, but i’d counsel fidgeting with the settings until you get the proper combine (sometimes turning off the surround offers better quality). This Buyer Review is From e470vl : vizio e470vl once I finally decided to enter the 21st century and replace my analog sets with digital flat screen TVs, I knew i’d need to have confidence positive reviews from others. when abundant reading on several websites the passion for the Vizio brand sold me and that i ordered vizio e470vl and the forty two in. moreover. I have had them a month currently and located the set-up to be simple and that i just like the image quality. but my enthusiasm is currently dampened when having to contact Vizio customer service. The digital TV program information that is supposed to seem when the Guide button is pressed doesn’t work on e470vl (but works perfectly on the forty two inch) and Vizio customer service tried to tell me that I had a newer model that did not include this. Huh??? How return it is referenced on page twenty one in my user’s guide? Even my old analog sets display program information. The fast-talking, principally unintelligible service rep acted like this was a wonderfully plausible clarification even though I purchased both TVs at the same time. His attitude was “just traumatize it.” Fortunately, Amazon has return to the rescue and is doing what Vizio should have done –replacing the TV with another one. i was ready to speak to an Amazon service rep immediately who has already shipped out the replacement TV these days. I can solely hope i don’t have any further trouble with these sets as a result of I now grasp that Vizio are of little facilitate. No service when the sale with Vizio. Follow-up to review: The replacement TV additionally doesn’t display program information.
